It's a nice watch with a few hiccups in overall experience from both the child and parent side of things. This can be helpful for parents who want to keep track of their kids once they get to the stage of starting to walk around independently. We tested several watches including the TickTalk4, Gabb Watch, Cosmo, Angel Watch, Xplora, Apple Watch and also collected feedback from parents with experience using top kids smartwatches on the market.Location services allow you to track your child and set up ‘security zones’ and, in an emergency, your child can press an SOS button to send a notification to the watch’s saved emergency contacts. Additionally, parents can easily set up safe zones via a Google Maps integration, and they will be alerted when their children enter or leave the safe zones.

The 2-megapixel front-facing camera was an instant hit and easy to use and it only handles still images. We love that the TickTalk 4 isn’t just a smartwatch for parents; it includes features that kids enjoy too. They can, among others, add other contacts, check the position of the watch or define the safe zones.

The Angel Watch also helps parents monitor the health of their child via a vital sign sensor that rests against the skin.
