About this deal
As I was reading I was trying to piece the story together, trying to guess how this was all going to come together. The opening is very sombre but the author then goes straight in to two explosives scenes that have your heart racing. There are also big questions and food for thought about whether actions are ever justified and some excellent and poignant psychological assessments and comments on life and grief.
One for sorrow : a ghost story : Hahn, Mary Downing : Free
Once again this one is a top notch read and I could not put it down from the first till the last page. In other longer versions of ‘One For Sorrow,’ the speaker mentions the devil, hell, and death darkening the overall tone of the song considerably. A killer who wants them to be aware of what he’s doing and make them feel powerless to stop him as he leaves carnage across the city.
From the complexity of the story, character analysis and plot to ideas and themes discussed, this book blew my mind. As expected, they feature into this story as well, and it makes for some witty and sarcastic banter.
One for Sorrow by Helen Fields | Waterstones
I would say you really need to read all the other books to get a sense of each character and hear their back stories. Having ended the previous book in this series with Natasha seriously ill with cancer, we open this one with a funeral.Back in 1984 I was awaken by a very loud cackling sound from a lot of magpies on inspection of a tree I counted 15 magpies making an herendus noise.
