About this deal
That’s excellent too, combining Logitech’s recent minimalist design aesthetic with a trendy exposed metal backplate and—don’t forget!
Larger keycaps, like the spacebar in particular, don’t suffer from wobble when you’re hitting one side of the bar. The detachable, memory-foam palmrest and premium aluminum-alloy construction make G513 full-featured and best-in-class. I spent multiple hours playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and never felt any wrist strain or general fatigue while using this keyboard.Soft, strong and durable leatherette wraps the comfort foam in a waterproof and sweat-resistant material that easily wipes clean. Again, I personally felt the Romer-G Linear were more unobtrusive, but for gamers looking for something with more feedback, the Tactile switches are an equally acceptable option.
Essentially an upgraded G413 keyboard, the new G513 is a stylish, full-size keyboard with fully customizable RGB lighting, a comfy wrist rest, and other features we’ve come to expect on higher-end gaming keyboards. The rigidity of 5052 alloy also provides a sturdy, non-slip chassis that houses a full suite of features for an unbeatable gaming experience.
The replacements have a satisfyingly deeper recess that cradled my fingers, and the WASD keys in particular are wonderful for gaming. It’s also the debut of Logitech’s new Romer-G Linear switch, a Cherry MX Red-like switch that finally gives Logitech lovers some options. Logitech’s Romer-G switches do a great job with lighting as it only comes through the keycaps instead of from underneath the keys themselves, and the effect looks fantastic glowing through each key’s iconography.
You can also find smaller keyboards that give you more room on your gaming mouse pad for mouse movement and comfortable keyboard position to reach all the keys and buttons. Sometimes you can save money with a gaming keyboard and mouse bundle, but you can expect to pay somewhere in that range for the average gaming keyboard. On the backside of the G513, there’s a braided cable which requires two USB ports on the PC, but the cable is thick and durable.
Thanks to the boxy nature of the underlying mechanism, each key press actuates evenly and comes to a nearly silent stop. Last year, we weren’t exactly pleased with the fact that the Logitech G413 only had toggleable function keys and no dedicated media buttons, and we’re still a bit upset this time around. as real users, posing a threat to a site’s security, so the site sometimes runs random security checks.
