About this deal

For previously finished woods (especially on antique furniture) I would recommend using a polish reviver first and then finish with Fiddes Mellow Wax Furniture Polish. Please note some larger products are delivered to kerb-side (the street outside your home), it is at the drivers discretion if they can deliver the item to another location on the property. With Fiddes Supreme Stripped Pine Wax, the natural beauty of your wood is amplified, showcasing the intricacy of the grain and giving your space a comforting, homely feel.

It is not only used on furniture but also areas with large surfaces like interior doors, panelling and ceiling beams. Our administrative function are in the “cloud” and most of our team are working remotely and following government guidelines for social distancing. You can apply with a lint free cloth or 0000 steel wool and once dry buff off using a wax buffing cloth. We have been using Fiddes Stripped Pine Wax for pine furniture for over 20 years as this creates such a lovely sheen, especially on bare wood. This means that it will renovate older dirtier furniture and leave you with the deep grain enriching Briwax shine. What we consider to be a normal wax finish will be a slightly pigmented light brown coloured wax which will produce a warm mellow finish.

Restoration: We always thoroughly check over the piece of furniture before we wax it, checking doors are closing, drawers are running smoothly, locks are working and everything is structurally sound. For best results and to prevent a blotchy appearance timber should always be previously sealed with a varnish, oil or Briwax Shellac Sanding Sealer. This product can expose you to chemicals including Toluene which is known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.
