Dell's laptop is exemplary in idle mode. The surface temperatures never got unpleasant when idling. However, the load temperature development is decisive. Here, it will soon become obvious that the heat distribution has not been solved ideally. The review sample's upper left area got noticeably warm with up to 44 °C. The other areas only reached temperatures below 30 °C. Typing or use on the lap did not prove unpleasant. However, Lenovo's solution is better conceived.
